" Rural retreat
Located in farmland next to Anderton Nature Reserve, Neumann s Flashes and Marbury Country Park, Walnut Barn provides the benefits of country living whilst being close to Northwich. Junction 10 of the M56 is 10 minutes drive from the property, and major railway links can be accessed via Hartford and Greenbank railway stations, which are 10 minutes drive from the property

The location of Walnut Barn is spectacular, with breathtaking views in all directions. There are countless walks and bridle paths available on the doorstep. Great Budworth Sailing Club, Hartford Tennis Club, Anderton Boat Lift, several riding stables, The Grange School, Cransley School and excellent state schools are all a couple of minutes from the property.

A lengthy driveway leads up to the property. The house itself is an attractive, detached L shaped barn enjoying an elevated position overlooking woodland and Anderton Nature Reserve. There is ample parking alongside a double garage.

A former cow barn, converted in the late 1990s, Walnut Barn has been elevated from its humble beginnings to offer comfortable, luxury accommodation in the heart of nature.

The beamed ceilings provide character and warmth. Ceiling spotlights and wall lights provide lots of light to all areas.

Walnut Barn is excellent in the spring and summer, when the well planned, landscaped garden bursts into life and the swimming pool can be enjoyed. There are several areas to dine al fresco, or to sit and relax and enjoy the garden and the views across the countryside beyond. In the winter the open fire in the sitting room and the wood burner in the Kitchen make the house a cosy, country retreat.

Warmth issues from the log burning stove inset within a brick chimney breast. Tucked off the dining kitchen is the cosy snug, with sofa and television, preceding the utility room with Belfast sink, plumbing for a washing machine and separate tumble dryer, with access into the integral double garage and stable door leading out to the garden.

Returning to the entrance hall, turning left from the front door and then immediately right, arrive at the light filled dining room.

The perfect room for family gatherings and dinner parties, savour the views over the beautifully sculpted garden and countryside beyond as you tuck into your meal. Light from the south facing garden bounces off the crisp white walls; the beamed ceilings provide an understated, elegant space for entertaining. Slip out through the French doors onto the Indian stone patio bordered by box hedging, white roses and lavender beds and admire the garden views whilst dining alfresco.

Relax and unwind
Continue along the hallway to the sitting room, an enchanting room, beautifully spacious, with exposed beams above and light flowing in from two sides. A brick chimney breast is inset with an open fire, emanating warmth and welcome on chilly winter days.
