" The moment you step inside the front door of this home you will realise that it is not your usual mid-terrace cottage. An entrance hallway greats your arrival, offering somewhere to hang your coat and take off your shoes. next enter the open plan lounge/diner and be impressed at how light and large the room is, certainly big enough for entertaining friends and family. Although character features will capture your eye, you will also be impressed at how much modernising has been done here. The kitchen and bathroom have all been done in recent years, as has the boiler and double glazing. The bathroom is separate upstairs and is large enough to hold a bath and shower cubicle. The master bedroom is a large double being 14ft long, although the current owners have made two rooms out of it for their children (not a big job though to convert back to one large room).Living in Nelson Avenue will offer the best of both worlds. The train station and High Street are approximately half a mile away, making it ideal for commuters; but if you yearn for a walk in the countryside on a Sunday afternoon then Haysden Country Park is also only half a mile away.

We were immediately taken with this house because it had the character we wanted, but also had a separate hallway to walk into and the bathroom was upstairs on its own.There was quite a bit to do here, but we are pleased with the home we have created. We have updated the bathroom and kitchen, but have also updated the boiler. It is really peaceful here and we love having the High Street and the parks all on our doorstep.
