" Welcome to Stratford Bridge Cottage, a stunning example of a Grade II listed, three double bedroom thatched cottage that having undergone an extensive refurbishment over the last four years, the current owners now present a property that has been finished to a superb specification, ensuring that the charm and character of the home has been preserved, yet having carefully balanced the needs of today, have incorporated a modern and contemporary finish with effortless ease and it is due to this, that a viewing of this wonderful home is highly recommended.

Having purchased the property in 2017, the owners have completely transformed the property which also meant undertaking the removal of the existing thatch roof and having had a new one fitted. Alongside this, the chimney stacks have been extended so ensuring the property could safely have two woodburning fires installed in either reception room.

Internally, the transformation is incredible with the first room that you walk into being the exquisite kitchenbreakfast room. With dark navy and grey units, a speckled work surface and a tiled floor, this really is a standout room. Add in wooden beams to the ceiling, an array of integrated units and walk in pantry, there is not much more one could really ask for.

Stepping further into the home, brings you to the living room which features a wonderful, stone inglenook fireplace which has been repointed in lime mortar and has a striking oak beam above the impressive log burner. The room is further complimented by a tiled Herringbone floor, double aspect windows, ensuring the room is flooded with natural light and beams to the roof space. A door leads to the newly built porch which in turn leads into the properties mature garden whilst a second door takes you into the final reception room.

Originally described as the dining room, the current owners utilise the room as a cinemamusic room, yet it could become a formal office, children`s playroom or anything one so desires.

On the first floor, are three double bedrooms, each one as impressive as the other, although the master bedroom is the standout room. With a vaulted ceiling, ensuring all the character of the roof is exposed, a complete wall of fitted wardrobes and an exposed wood floor, one will find the room very charming.

Completing the upstairs is the modern, three-piece shower room which has a double walk-in shower and is fully tiled.

Externally, to the front of the home is a driveway which will comfortably hold five-six cars whilst there is also the newly constructed car port should under cover parking be required which benefits from light and power. Attached to the car port, is a timber workshoputility.

To the rear of the property is an expansive, private, and mature rear garden which the current owners have created over the last four years. There is a lovely terrace for one to enjoy a morning coffeeorange juice which in turn opens onto the formal lawns which are edged with well stocked flower beds.
Found with the garden is a timber shed, recently installed greenhouse and in the bottom right-hand corner is a timber outbuilding which has light, power, WIFI and has been fully insulated and so could be used for a multitude of purposes to include home office, games room or possibly even a gym.

All in all, we feel that the current owners have transformed the home into something incredibly special and it is because of this, that we would highly recommend a visit to the property.
