HouseSimple is pleased to present to the market this 4 bedroom detached cottage in Sutton Cheney. The property is a historic period cottage which began as three separate farm cottages and has been totally restored with an extension which now encompasses classic character and elegance as well as being a cosy family home.

the property is in a privately owned village and conservation area. Not listed and is freehold. The first cottage was built approximately 1740 , the third in 1800s. Not known when all three were joined as one. We totally gutted, renovated and extended in 2004.

The central heating is L. P. G. liquid petroleum gas. The fuel tank is in rear garden. Usual central heating radiators throughout.

Downstairs there are 3 reception rooms. A sitting room, at front, with original  fireplace using bio fuel. A breakfast room with log burner and a lounge with coal fireplace and patio doors overlooking the garden. There is also a formal dining room, with original chimney and fitted gas coal fireplace.

The spacious kitchen has fitted units with fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Stoves cooker with double electric ovens and electric griddle panel on top. Gas hob.

Upstairs provides 4 double bedrooms , the  master bedroom has an en suite bathroom which has been newly fitted with P shape shower bath. The second has en suite toilet and shower room. The third has en suite toilet, sink and bidet. The fourth bedroom could be dual purpose .

The driveway has room for more than four cars and there is the added benefit of a detached garage. The rear garden has been landscaped to provide both a patio area and a decking area, for al fresco dining and the rest is mainly laid to lawn with flower beds. Views overlooking adjoining open fields at rear, side and front , which can be rented from landowner for use as paddocks. There are 2 sheds and outside taps.
