The property is within the popular Stamshaw area and would be ideal for a small or growing family. With good local schools, shops, the very popular Mountbatten Leisure Centre with fully equipped modern gymnasium and large Olympic size swimming pool - and for those parents out there that like to take the youngsters for a dip, there is a smaller parent and toddler pool available. You would be close to the main London Road, North End shops and amenities and a short bus ride, walk, drive or cycle to the main Portsmouth City Centre. If you need motorway access for in or out of town you would be all of two minutes away. If, after a long day at work, you are looking for a walk out for a pint or glass of something, there are a few local public houses that will cater for your needs - and on the way home, if you do not fancy cooking, there is a vast choice of fast food take-away outlets for you to enjoy.

I have lived here for 6 years and have been a Portsmouth resident all my life and I must say, I have very much enjoyed my time here at Somerville Place. The neighbourhood is just brilliant; very friendly, helpful and we are a small community that look out and help each other.
I bought the home because I thought for the money at the time, it was great value and I still believe that to this day. For me, the off road parking and huge garage to the rear of the property sold it to me.
Over the years, I have improved the property with new decoration throughout. Now I feel the time has come for me to move on. I very much hope that the next buyer takes as much satisfaction from my home as I have done.
