There are also several public houses along with a theatre and a gymnasium. There are also several bus routes leading to neighbouring towns. By car Erith has easy access to the A2, M25, M2, M20 and the South Circular making trips to places such as Bluewater and Bexleyheath Shopping centres, the 02 in Greenwich and the Dartford Tunnel only a short journey away. Erith also offers a great selection of primary schools to choose from and also Erith Secondary School, which is why the area appeals to so many families. Erith itself is made up of four distinct areas.
