ACCOMMODATION
Approached from Aldworth Road via a five-bar gate into a spacious gravel parking area, Oaklands sits centrally in its plot. The property has been stylishly updated and provides spacious and well-proportioned accommodation. The reception hall has an impressive oak staircase leading to a galleried landing. The village of Upper Basildon lies just 2 miles to the West of Pangbourne and has a well regarded pub, local church, primary school, play group and Saturday market. Pangbourne itself has an excellent range of amenities including specialist food shops, caf?s and restaurants, as well as a Doctors? surgery and Dentist. There is also a main line rail service to London, Paddington (from 49 mins) with Crossrail allowing direct access to the City, Canary Wharf, the West End and Heathrow from 2019. More comprehensive amenities at Reading are approximately 9 miles away and there is a frequent bus service to Reading, Pangbourne and Goring. The M4 (J12) is approximately 6 miles distant and provides excellent access to the M25 and M3 motorway network. The area is well served by an excellent range of schooling including Bradfield College, St Andrews Preparatory School, Pangbourne College, Downe House and The Oratory.
OUTSIDE
