THE LOCATION The property is located on the south eastern side of Baldock, just 0.6 of a mile from the town centre and Baldock mainline railway station (13 minutes according to google).

Baldock and Letchworth are on the London Kings Cross to Cambridge mainline railway with the fastest service from Baldock to Kings Cross taking just 36 minutes, from Baldock to Cambridge 25 minutes, from Letchworth to Kings Cross 29 minutes and from Letchworth to Cambridge 28 minutes.

BALDOCK Baldock was founded by the Knights Templar (also the name of the town's secondary school) in the 1140s. The town grew up where the old Great North Road and the Icknield Way crossed.

Due to its location the town was a major staging post between London and the north. Many old coaching inns still operate as pubs and hotels.

The year 2006 saw the opening of the Baldock bypass which greatly reduced the through traffic. Following this the Town Centre started with the enhancement plan which was designed to release the potential of the town.

Numerous changes have been made including the widening of pedestrian footpaths, more green areas and trees, whilst keeping the historic character of the town.
