The Location
Hawksworth Grove is a cul de sac in Heysham not far from the popular St John's area and with good local amenities. There are local shops on Oxcliffe Road with a Post Office and take away among others. Strawberry Gardens, a short drive away, has a whole wealth of shops and businesses and Heysham's historic village centre along with the coast and cliff walks is not far. The immediate surroundings are peaceful being a residential cul de sac but there are great links by road and the bypass with new link road coming is accessible for travel further beyond the local centres of Morecambe, Heysham and Lancaster. What a fantastic home! We were amazed as we stepped inside this family home which is known to friends as "The Tardis". Prepare to be impressed. The hallway is light and welcoming and from here there is access to the two ground floor bedrooms and to the ground floor bathroom which houses a full four piece bath suite. The final door opens onto an impressive, "L" shaped living area. A generous and modern fitted kitchen features velux overhead windows to the vaulted ceiling. There is inset spot lighting and a matching velux and lighting to the dining area. Double glazed French Doors open to the garden behind and the relaxing lounge area is finished with modern decor and from here the staircase leads up to the first floor with a further two bedrooms which both have access to the Jack 'n Jill en-suite shower room. Outside there is a generous rear garden with lawn and seating areas and a modern brick built storage shed. The front is block paved to allow for parking. The lightness of this home is a real feature and several people have commented that you just cannot help but feel happy here. Come and see for yourself!
