" Anyon Villas are a row of six terraced properties located in a quiet street, off Lord Street. They are believed to have been built by local farmer and butcher, Anyon Kay, who was butcher to Lord Leverhulme and slaughtered his rare animals at Rivington which were sent to the troops during the Great War, to house his family members in 1907. The current owner has lived happily in the property for the past 10 years and particularly enjoys the stunning views and quiet location. The property has been tastefully decorated throughout and has a lovely, warm feel to it on entering. Internal viewing is highly recommended.
