From the centre of Barnard Castle proceed out up Galgate, into Bede Road and turning left onto the A688 prior to the Jet petrol filling station. Proceed through the village of Staindrop and past Raby Castle taking the next turning on the left-hand side signposted Cockfield.

After approximately n++ a mile take the next turning on the right which leads into the village of Cockfield itself. At the T-junction in the centre of the village turn to the left and proceed to the far end of the village, taking the last turning on the right onto Bleak Terrace. Follow the road down almost to the end where the subject property will be found on the right-hand side.
