Description
Highfields is a detached four double bedroom house located in a private road off Celtic way. The elevated position commands views for miles over the village to the Quantocks and Exmoor over Bridgwater Bay, yet its garden and approach are fairly level. It stands in large grounds of approximately half an acre with wide sweeping lawns to the rear and a good length of drive from the road. We believe the original house dates to the 1950's but has been considerably extended in more recent years. The house has been fully refurbished by the present owners in the last 5 years and offers recently installed kitchen and bathrooms fitted to an exacting standard. The use of subtle colour and style take full advantage of the light and airy atmosphere. It has large, high ceilinged rooms with double glazed windows and doors from each of the reception rooms leading onto the south facing terrace at the rear of the house. A spacious hall and landing add to the feeling of space.

Situation
SituationBleadon is a very conveniently placed village on the south side of Weston Super Mare (4 miles). It is a thriving community with plenty of activities, church, pub, village hall. There are many community activities for adults and children alike with a primary school located in nearby Lympsham. Bleadon Hill lies above the village and commands spectacular views over the countryside to the coast. There are plenty of walks on the doorstep and golf club.

Accommodation
The accommodation, with gas fired central heating via radiators and underfloor heating to the new sitting room, master bedroom and bathroom and double glazed windows and doors.The sitting room is a large square space with feature fireplace. A set of French doors leads out onto the south facing terrace at the rear with lovely views over the garden and beyond. There is an additional snug sitting room with doors onto the terrace. The kitchen is beautifully fitted with bespoke cream units. The ceramic floor leads through to the open plan dining room which is a large space overlooking the garden via a full height picture window. The staircase rises to a half landing with full height window with spectacular view to Brent Knoll and continues to the first floor landing, another room in itself with doors to each of the double bedrooms. On the first floor are four double bedrooms, the master of which is a splendid room with dressing area and large en suite.

Outside
Highfields is approached from a private road leading off Celtic Way. High timber gates lead onto the central front entrance drive with lawn either side leading down to the front of the house and to the INTEGRAL DOUBLE GARAGE with electronic roller door, light, power and water and pedestrian door into the hall.There is ample room for parking and turning for many vehicles. A former single garage acts as a good garden store. Paths lead either side of the house around to the rear. Immediately behind the house is a decked terrace which has access from the sitting room, snug and dining room/kitchen. Several wide steps lead down to the wide sweeping lawn with a high beech hedge borders and attractive mature trees, including a White Beam, several Silver Birch and Cedar. At the rear of the garden is a 'hidden area' which could be perfect for a small orchard or veg garden. The garden is south facing and secluded.
