Situation Woodend is situated close to Broadheath Common. Lower Broadheath is a popular and accessible village close to the City of Worcester. The village has many local amenities including a village shop and post office and three public houses. Additionally there is a very popular Church of England Primary School, common land in the centre of the village, and an interesting museum at the birthplace of the renowned composer Elgar. For a comprehensive range of social cultural and retail amenities the cathedral city of Worcester is easily accessible within about five minutes. Worcestershire is a county renowned for excellent schooling; Woodend falls within the catchment of Broadheath CE primary school which feeds directly into the highly rated secondary school The Chantry. For fee paying schools there is a lot to offer and the property is ideally situated for Abberley Preparatory School, Kings School and RGS Worcester. Woodend is extremely well positioned to enjoy the intricate network of foot and bridle paths that cover Worcestershire. There are many delightful walks that can vary in distance looping to and from the property. The City of Worcester boasts professional rugby, County and World class cricket below the Cathedral and horse racing on the banks of the River Severn.
