Rose Cottage is a detached period property situated in a superb rural location close to Cusgarne village and placed in a very convenient location midway between the city of Truro, the market town of Redruth and the harbour town of Falmouth. The cottage is in an elevated south facing position enjoying superb countryside views. It is believed that the cottage dates back to the early 1800s with a two storey extension added in the 1980s. Over the last year the cottage has been partially refurbished and redecorated with the addition of a new slate roof. The cottage has surprisingly high ceilings and a wealth of character features which include beamed ceilings, sash windows and an open fire in the sitting room. The ground floor comprises; dining room, sitting room, kitchen and side porch whilst to the first floor there are three double bedrooms and a family bathroom. Externally there are level lawned gardens as well as a double garage and car port. This type of property is rarely available in this specific geographic location and must be viewed. Cusgarne is a thriving community with an excellent primary school and the neighbouring village of Frogpool has a public house and village hall. Approximately 6 miles to the north east lies the city of Truro which has a much wider range of facilities including banks, building societies, shops, schools, public houses and the main line railway link to London Paddington.
