The town also provides excellent transport links with the mainline British Railway Station providing regular services from Penzance to London/Paddington. In addition there is access to the main A30, which gives further access to the rest of the county. The North Cornish Coastal Village of Portreath lies some 6 miles away with fine sandy beaches offering water sports to include surfing and swimming and also offers lovely coastal walks.
