.Believed to have been built in 1911 by a local Builder for his own occupation, this fine Edwardian home was clearly designed to take maximum advantage of the wonderful panoramic views that are enjoyed, not only down river and out to sea past Thus Castles, but also over the town and up river to Hoodown and Noss. This wonderful vista has been further enhanced by turning the end bay so that it faces straight out to sea and the removal of the wall separating the lounge and dining room, this providing one large open-plan living area. The house has been brought right up to date but still retains many lovely period features, which include Edwardian screens and carved woodwork, together with moulded cornicing to the high ceilings and lovely six panel doors that have now been stripped and waxed. The period fireplaces are also worthy of note, together with some fine leaded panes and panels.
