The locality is bounded by woodland and fields with public footpaths. The iconic Southborough Common and cricket pitch is 0.8 mile away. Main line stations are at Tonbridge, 2.9 miles away and High Brooms 1.3 miles away. The A26, giving access to the A21 is at the top of Pennington Road.
