" This Victorian house has a lot of charm and character as well as being practical. The windows are double glazed, there is gas central heating, the kitchen is modern and the bathroom is upstairs. The living room has maple laminate floors and a wood burning stove that creates a delightfully cosy room. The dining room also has a fireplace and space for a decent sized dining table, which doubles as a breakfast table and work space. The conservatory offers more flexibility to the downstairs space and is currently used as the office. On the first floor the master bedroom faces the front and there is a modern bathroom that is big enough to take a bath and separate shower. The second floor bedroom is a good double; perfect for those that need a decent size second bedroom for guests or for an office. The house is tucked away in the heart of the village with the village shops, school and pub nearby, as well as a local garage. There is a village green by the pub and church and plenty of walks for rambles, cyclists, kids and dog lovers - in fact there are woods all round.

What the Owner says:

I loved the garden - it seems to get the sun all day with nothing blocking out the light. The brick wall boundary gives me a good deal of privacy. My work means I have had to put two huge sheds in the garden, which will go, but there is still plenty of space to enjoy just sitting down and relaxing. In the evening we love watching the stars.Moving from London I was determined to get a Victorian house with lots of character and warmth and fireplaces so that I could have a wood burning stove.I also wanted a quiet village atmosphere mixed with good links to a town and to London and Langton Green has been absolutely perfect!
