Located in the ever desirable village of Appledore this beautiful Kent village is very pretty, and has an open and peaceful feel to it. The walk along the banks of the Royal Military Canal, is very enjoyable and relaxing, the route to Woodchurch in the East is owned by the National Trust.
This quaint village offers local shops and public houses, but the main shopping towns are Rye to the West, Tenterden to the North or Ashford to the East.

The nearest train service runs across the Romney Marsh , stopping nearby at Appledore station about 1 mile from the village.

The property accommodation comprises of a good size entrance hall which houses a study area, cosy living room with an oak surround fireplace and log burner, with original solid wood flooring, large recently fitted open plan kitchendining room, separate utility room and a down stairs four piece bathroom
The upstairs accommodation comprises of four double bedrooms of which two have showersen suites. There is also a recently fitted three piece family bathroom.
Other benefits include a good size rear enclosed garden and parking for three cars.
The current owner has nothing but good things to say about her home and the village she lives in;
"e;I have lived here for about 13 years now I didn‘t know Appledore existed until a friend took me to a pub here when there was two pubs, the current pub called the Black Lion has an excellent reputation for good food and summertime hog roast & BBQ at the seating area outside.
I loved to visit the antique shop and became a regular at the beautiful church next to the pub, we take our dogs on beautiful country walks right on our door step, we have a little hairdressers and the local shop post office, a cute Tea room where they dress up two dummies to suit the season‘s and seat them on their outside seating area no one disturbs this display which proves how respectful our village Neighbourhood is.
My favourite room is our new communal area kitchen dinner where I love to cook and talk with my family & friends we have a 3 seater sofa where the children love to watch tv which keeps our charming living room space to ourselves.
We also have a train station my husband uses to commute to and from work to London.
This is a charming and pretty village.
Ham street is about 10 minutes away & Rye is close by if you take the right turn by our pub onto the royal Royal military canal route.
Tenterden about 13 minutes where you will find beautiful designer shops and coffee shops not to mention the long standing restaurants a leisure centre with a park in front.
We have put a lot of effort into making our home a charming family space for us all to spread out, once you visit our home I‘m sure you‘ll appreciate the abundance of space for all your family needs we have 4 bathing areas and an added bit of Luxury in our brand new Jacuzzi with powerful jet streams to massage you with coloured lights and Wi-Fi built-in speaker system to listen to from your mobile phone your favourite music whilst relaxing in your bath to add to the ambience of relaxation.
In our garden we have a very large insulated shed built on an extra deep concrete base with plenty of electrical sockets all round and ample Ceiling strip lights for your hobbies & next to this shed is a smaller one with lights to house our garden tools.
We have sectioned the grass area and patio added a wooden picket fence with gate to ensure the dogs don‘t bring mud in & out of the house, this has added a lovely seating area on our newly built patio with outdoor lights where you can entertain family and friends around our mature trees and plants our garden is fully secluded from other gardens.
Lastly we‘ve added sensors lights all around our house and for our patio area so we can see in the winter months when it gets dark early along with a new modern ring doorbell video system, our porch is pretty too Which is new and has coloured lead stained-glass neatly houses our coats and shoes for all the family. Bringing my family up in Appledore will leave me with a charming memory.
We‘re now ready to downsize as the children have fled their nests"e;
