" Situation Kennington is a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Ashford. There are a range of local shops within walking distance and regular bus services to Ashford town centre. Ashford itself has a good range of shopping, educational and recreational facilities. The high speed rail link from Ashford offers direct services to St Pancras (37 minutes). In addition, there are direct rail links to mainland Europe from Ashford International Station (Paris 2 hours). Access to the motorway network is via Junction 9 (1 mile). The Channel Tunnel is within 8 miles.
