" The previous owner was a very keen gardener and wanted a bungalow in a rural location that had the opportunity to extend yet still have a good size plot.
The property was extended to provide two extra bedrooms, shower room and a loft conversion which has been used as an art studio. Having its own front door, the next owner could easily use this as a separate annex but still leave plenty of room in the remainder of the property.The layout of the property is just right, too, with a bathroom and 2 shower rooms being ample for 5 bedrooms and it is not short on living space either! The lounge is dual aspect so offers a lot of natural light and with window and door overlooking the beautiful gardens is the perfect place to relax. In fact most rooms overlook the gardens so it is easy to imagine the tranquillity here.If location is important then this delightful bungalow is probably in the perfect place. Palehouse common is a rural location just South of Uckfield with views overlooking Framfield and Crowborough yet within a couple of miles of Uckfield itself with a wealth of amenities including a mainline service into London.

When our parents bought the property gardening was their passion. The bungalow wasn’t big enough at the time but the plot gave enough room to extend while leaving enough outside space to create their dream garden.The extension was done in 2004 which added 2 extra bedrooms, shower room and a loft conversion which was used as a painting studio. The studio is perfect for this as it has a velux window which lets in a lot of light but could also be used as a study. Our parents kept the bungalow beautifully and made sure there was plenty of storage, as well. One bedroom has a 7 door fitted wardrobe and another has a 9 door one!
