Nestled away at the end of a quiet country lane in a picturesque rural setting, this stunning 16th Century Barn was thought to have been moved to it‘s current location in around 1870 and converted to the amazing property it is now in 1994.

With no immediate neighbours, Longdown Meadow enjoys a generous plot spanning approximately 2.3 acres. Surrounded by open farmland, the property and gardens feel extremely private and feature a beautiful, naturally fed wildlife pond, several mature trees and an expanse of lawn areas. A particular feature of the property is the ample parking; a sweeping driveway provides space for parking many vehicles as well as turning. There‘s a double open bay garage as well as secure garaging for at least four vehicles if required.

The Principle Dwelling has been lovingly converted and cared for over the years. Beautiful slate floors flow through the footprint of the original building whilst the garden Room addition(2009) hosts a more contemporary heated floor. Mainline rail: Etchingham has station parking and commuter services to London Charing Cross (via London Bridge and Waterloo East) and London Cannon Street. Wadhurst is also on this line.

Bus: Regular bus services operate from Ticehurst to Wadhurst and Tunbridge Wells.
