A substantial five bedroom family home with scope for further extension located on the highly sought after Ridgeway only 1.4 miles from Tonbridge train station.

This characterful home dates back to around the 1930's and still boasts many period features including the original parquet flooring, picture rails and doors. A sizable, welcoming entrance hall benefits from under stairs storage, a ground floor WC and a study to the front of the house. To the rear is a large extended sitting room with log burning stove and patio doors to the generous rear garden. Next to the sitting room sits the dining room with practical service hatch to the kitchen and access via French doors to the sun/play room. The kitchen has recently benefitted from a large extension and truly feels like the heart of the home with space for a large dining table and plush sofas. The kitchen design is sympathetic to the house yet neutral enough to suit most tastes but as always, very practical with feature Belfast sink and an 'every day' fridge discreetly hidden in one of the units. To the rear of the kitchen is an incredibly useful pantry and next to this a generous utility room with space for all appliances including a large fridge freezer. The utility room has side access to the garden and has been crafted from the rear half of the garage. The front half is still accessible from the drive and provides fantastic storage for bikes etc. A stunning set of Bi-Fold doors flood the space with natural daylight and lead directly from the kitchen to the garden whilst a set of French doors interconnect back into the sun/play room giving a great flow to the house and a flexibility to the use of the rooms depending on your needs. All of the five bedrooms are located to the first floor of the house. The vendor has also been informed that a loft conversion to create a further bedroom with en-suite bathroom is possible should you wish. Of the five bedrooms, four are comfortably doubles including the master bedroom which feels like a wing in it's own right with space for a super king bed and en-suite. To the rear of the property is a very large, enclosed private garden with a sunny south westerly aspect benefitting from two paved entertaining spaces and fruit trees whilst to the front of the property is a generous block paved drive offering parking space for multiple cars. The vendor has already found their next home and can offer a speedy move with complete chain. "
