" Overview
Housenetwork.co.uk are pleased to offer this five bedroom

(four double, one single) link detached family home in the village of Shrewton.

Priory Close is a safe and extremely pleasant small brick-pavioured close enclosed within the ancient walls of the old priory - hence the name. Number 20 has a lovely but very manageable walled garden and very pleasing views over open countryside, woods and fields often with grazing cattle, horses or donkeys.

To the front of the property there is off road parking for several cars leading to an attached garage and a low maintenance garden. To the rear there is an enclosed landscaped garden with lawn area, patio area and a variety of plants and shrubs.

The property has been tastefully improved by the present owners which has included updating the kitchen and bathroom, adding an excellent conservatory with central heating and underfloor heating and landscaping the garden. The loft has been professionally converted into a master bedroom with en-suite and built-in storage and this bedroom enjoys the best of the views.

Shrewton Village is 3 miles from Stonehenge and the A303. It is well-placed for the Salisbury Plain and South Wiltshire area and the A303 makes longer commutes achievable. It has its own excellent primary school, recreation ground, two doctors surgeries, butchers, hairdressers, veterinary surgery, garage and filling station, post office and convenience store. It is only an easy 12 mile country drive to the beautiful ancient Cathedral City of Salisbury. Slightly further afield but still less than an hour are even more leisure and retail opportunities at places like Marlborough, Bath and Southampton.
