" Moonacres is a large and secluded Modern house on the renowned Beaulieu estate. Originally designed by the architect John Strubbe in the early 1960s, it has been the subject of significant updating by the current owner.

The 5-bedroom house has approximately 3,000 sq ft of internal space arranged over two floors and a separate large studio area above the double garage. The plot size is approximately 2/3 acre which provides rear and front gardens (mostly laid to lawn) plus a drive and ample parking space at the front. The top floor of the house has wonderful views over the Beaulieu River and beyond.

The house is accessed via a private, unmade road on the Beaulieu Estate. The Estate is an area of approximately 7,000 acres of beautiful Hampshire countryside, including the Beaulieu River, that is owned by Lord Montagu. The Estate has been in existence since the 13th century and has been carefully protected to avoid over-development.

The picturesque Beaulieu village centre is within two miles, as is Buckler's Hard, a pretty 18th century village with a marina, pub and country hotel, The Georgian town of Lymington is just eight miles away and offers an excellent variety of boutiques, restaurants, and two marinas. The nearby M27 and M3 provide good road links to Southampton (17 miles) and Winchester (27 miles), whilst Southampton Airport Parkway (20 miles) provides a connection to London Waterloo in 70 minutes.
