" A superbly presented detached cottage originally dating back to approximately 1720 having been sympathetically extended and set in well stocked mature gardens of approximately a third of an acre.

From the centre of the village of Brockenhurst, proceed in a southerly direction along Sway Road eventually passing over the railway bridge and turning left travelling across the forest and on reaching the A337, turning right in the direction of Lymington.  Take the third main turning you come to on the left into Rope Hill.  Continue on this road and just past the Red Lion public house on your right, turn right into Boldre Lane.  Deerlane Cottage can be found along on your right and is named.
