" A substantial family residence of character built we
understand as one of a pair in 1881 with sensitive later additions. The accommodation totals in excess of 4,000sq ft with the wonderfully proportioned principal rooms benefitting from the generous ceiling heights one would hope to find in a property of this era. A great deal of the original features are intact including (but not limited to), extensive fine cornicing, open fireplaces and an elegant staircase with hand turned rail. Approached via the wide entrance hall the accommodation in the original part of the house comprises large dining room with walk in bay window, delightful drawing room with French doors onto the rear terrace, study with views over the garden and library looking to the front. The newer wing features a light and airy open plan kitchenbreakfast room leading onto the conservatory combining to make a fantastic space for day to day family life and entertaining.
