" Situated in the popular village of Pewsey stands this well balanced detached family house. Built in the mid twentieth century the property is set back from the land behind hedgerows within grounds that wrap around the house providing a good degree of privacy.

The accommodation is arranged over two storeys and with large window openings make it light and airy furthermore there is scope to extend subject to the usual consents. On the ground floor off the main entrance hallway there is a useful dual aspect study, dual aspect dining room with built in cupboards and a good sized sitting room with focal electric fireplace and doors to outside. The kitchen sits to the back of the house with views over the garden offering a wealth of cupboards, ample space to dine and there is a door to the utility and cloakroom as well as side access to the garden.

On the first floor the staircase splits with access on one side to two bedrooms and on the other side two double bedrooms and two bathrooms one with a shower and the other a bath.

Situation
The village of Pewsey offers excellent local amenities including a supermarket, pharmacy, doctor‘s surgery, sports centre, tennis club and several pubs. The historic market towns of Marlborough, Devizes and Hungerford are close by. There are direct train services to London Paddington and the South West from Pewsey Station, with the M4 (J15) about 15 miles north, and the A303 (M3) is about 14 miles to the south. There are excellent local schools in the area, with St John‘s Academy, Marlborough College, Dauntsey‘s and St. Francis Prep all nearby. It is in an Area of Outstanding Beauty situated very close to the Kennet & Avon canal, which has been developed as a popular heritage tourism destination for boating, canoeing, fishing, walking and cycling.

The property is approached via a drive which leads to a gated parking area which extends onto the garden and a detached garage with workshop at the back.
