" This charming five bedroom detached home is deceptively spacious and stands on the south side of the road, enjoying a light and airy southerly aspect. The inviting entrance hall leads to a fabulously spacious sitting room, a lovely light room with large picture windows enjoying a stunning outlook across the distant hills and with a cosy gas wood burning style stove set into a brick hearth; the room splits naturally into the dining area. The kitchen/breakfast room has an excellent range of cupboards with granite work surfaces over and is fitted with a large range style cooker with an additional oven. An atrium illuminates this room which is the hub of the house as well as being a great kitchen. There is a good sized utility room and a garden room with access straight onto the sun terrace. There are two double bedrooms, a family bathroom and guest cloakroom on the ground floor along with a study /5th bedroom depending on lifestyle.

Situation
Manton is a sought after small village to the west of Marlborough and is within walking distance of the town. Village amenities include a primary school, church and public house. Manton Hollow lies to the north and stands in an elevated position. Marlborough offers an extensive range of shopping facilities, a twice weekly market, and various pubs and restaurants, including the recently opened Rick Stein Restaurant. The town is well served with a good range of schooling including Marlborough College and St. Johns Academy, and benefits from a sports centre with an indoor swimming pool. There is a station in Pewsey (about 6 miles) providing direct services to London Paddington (approx.1 hour) and The South West, with the M4 J15 about 8 miles. The surrounding countryside is an Area of Outstanding Beauty with good walking and cycling opportunities including the nearby famous 'West Woods' at Lockeridge known for their bluebells.
