BROAD HINTON Broad Hinton is situated at the foot of the Marlborough Downs; amenities include a village store/post office, the church of St Peter and The Crown and The Barbury Inn, public houses. Swindon is six miles with main line station (Paddington 55 minutes). M4 junction 15 is within five miles and Marlborough eight miles. This was plain Hentone in the Domesday Book.
