" A south-west facing PICTURE POSTCARD COTTAGE in a highly sought after location, just off the High Street, with planning permission to install a parking bay. 2 bedrooms, en suite cloakroom, bathroom, sitting room and kitchen. Private gardens. NO ONWARD CHAIN.

Location Malmesbury lies close to the border of Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, 14 miles south of Cirencester and 10 miles north of Chippenham, with Swindon 16 miles to the east and Bath 24 miles to the west. It has a good selection of shops including a Waitrose supermarket, a regular farmers' market, a library, museum, leisure centre with pool, two primary schools and a 'High Performing Academy' secondary school. J17 of the M4, 5 miles south, provides access to the area's major employment centres and there are trains to Paddington in just over an hour from Chippenham, Kemble and Swindon. The Property This picture postcard cottage lies in a highly and sought after area, just off the High Street yet close to open countryside. It has an attractive rose-clad stone facade beneath a tile covered roof and benefits internally from a wealth of period charm. Planning permission was granted in January 2016 for a parking bay reference 15/11878 which has not yet been implemented, see picture 8. Beyond is a private area of well screened garden and a shed. Steps lead up to a raised gravelled area at the rear with a productive vine. Services All mains connected.
