" A beautifully appointed luxury basement apartment with its own private front door just a short walk from both the town centre and Hertford North station.

Overall Description This basement apartment forms part of the recent conversion of Hertford's original county hospital, a most impressive Grade II Listed Georgian building, built in 1832 and converted into luxury apartments when the new hospital opened next door. The apartment has the major benefit of having its own private entrance tucked away around the back of the building, yet only a short walk from the two allocated parking spaces in the private gated car park. Although a basement apartment it is actually on the ground level (as the grand front entrance goes up to the first floor) so the apartment has plenty of new sash windows and is surprisingly light and spacious. There is a really good-sized open-plan living/dining room with a state of the art modern kitchen with black granite work surfaces and all Neff appliances. The master bedroom suite comprises a large double bedroom with space for flat screen TV on the wall, a good-sized and modern bathroom as well as a sizeable walk-in dressing room that has also been used as a home office. There is no garden to worry about, but the owner does have use of the pretty communal garden that is just around the corner from the front door, so nearer this apartment than any other. This property will suit buyers who want privacy and seclusion above all else and who also want to be within a five minute walk from Hertford North station and also only a short stroll into town. The apartment is being sold with no onward chain. Location This apartment sits next to Hertford's new Hospital, so conveniently located only a five minute's walk from Hertford North railway station and five to ten minute's walk to the town centre. Hertford, the historic county town of Hertfordshire, has a very good range of facilities including shops, schools, sports clubs and also has many excellent restaurants and a lively night life.
