" The Property
Having been entirely rebuilt approximately four years ago on the site of the old family home, this detached five bedroom house replaces the original chalet bungalow and offers superb accommodation. The property has been designed in a retro fashion and attention to detail is exemplary. Of particular attraction is the double storey entrance hall with it's mezzanine gallaried landing, the wrought iron staircase and the atmospheric sub terranian cinema room. Further features include the high end kitchen and bathroom fittings, solid oak flooring and large shingle drive providing ample parking facilities. The property also benefits from excellent rail links to London and beyond from Ware, Hertford, Bishop's Stortford and Stevenage.

Ground Floor Accommodation
Accessing the property via the front door, you are astonished by the proportions of the magnificent double storey entrance hall. Of special interest is the sweeping 1920's style wrought iron staircase, galleried mezzanine landing, arched stained glass window and solid oak flooring. Access can also be gained from here to the sub terrainian cinema room. There is also a door to the rear leading to a rear patio, crrently containing a hot tub. Turning left after entering via the front door brings you directly into the main sitting room with it's adjacent dining area and to the rear is the conservatory with it's vaulted ceiling. Returning to the entrance hall the study is immediately opposite and the corridor leads to the remaining ground floor rooms. These include a large bathroom which is fully tiled and has a free standing roll top bath, a guest bedroom and fitted kitchen diner with a part vaulted ceiling. This has a superb range of wall and base units finished in pink with contrasting speckled granite work surfaces, complementary brush steel and a matching island. The sub terrainian cinema room is divided into two distinct areas, a sitting area with atmospheric lighting and a bar, and the main viewing area which has two rows of cinema seating and screen with over head projector. An absolute must for those keen film buffs who want to relive the dream.

First Floor Accommodation
Approached via the wrought iron staircase, the first floor is again divided into two distinct areas. Continuing on from the top of the stairs and turning left over the galleried landing leads you to the master bedroom with windows to three aspects and a vaulted ceiling, bedroom two and fully tiled cloakroom, comprising low flush wc, corner wash hand basin and chrome heated towel rail. Returning to the landing and on into the corridor, you come to the remaining two bedrooms and the family bathroom, which has yet to be fitted.

Setting
The property, which is approached from Station Road, has a five bar gate which leads to a shingle drive providing parking for several vehicles. A second 5 bar gate leads to the front door. The gardens surround the property from two sides. The front, which faces the conservatory, is laid to lawn with traditional borders and a selection of mature trees providing privacy.
