" Tucked behind Kings College Hospital on a residential side street is this noble period building at the corner of Bavent Road and Caldecot Road. On the top floor, this apartment is ideally placed for the amenities of Camberwell and the two big hospitals. For trains choose from Denmark Hill station serving London Bridge and Victoria, or Loughborough Junction for Blackfriars, Thameslink & Kings Cross. Spoilt indeed!

Trot in through the main door and find the entrance a couple of staircase up. You enter a lengthy hallway, impeccably presented with laminate flooring underfoot and cream walls. First right is a superb reception room with double windows, feature fireplace, high ceilings - great size too! You can also use this as a big double bedroom if you prefer to tweak the living space. Next right is an ample double bedroom and then the bathroom follows. You find a traditional white suite in here matched with white tiles and pretty black and white floors. At the far end of the hall, a door leads into a kitchen bearing white units. From here you have access to a nice balcony with plenty of space for you and a few pals. At the far end of the flat is the second single bedroom. There's room for a bed and a wardrobe or you could use it as a reception, study or TV room. Throughout the decor is friendly and neutral and there is good natural light.

This is a quiet spot behind the hospital yet it's only minutes away from Camberwell's shops, bars and restaurants. Denmark Hill station is just five minutes away on foot for regular services to Victoria and London Bridge. Alternatively, pick up one of the many buses into the City and the West End - the 185 and 176 go to Victoria and Oxford Circus while the 40 (on Denmark Hill) and the 35 from the bottom of the road go to the City. Nearby is Ruskin Park for green spaces, beautiful Daffodils in the Spring and tennis courts.
