DETAILS

These reliable sixties townhouses were built with a clear purpose: space. The chunky, square rooms are swimming in natural light thanks to the huge windows running the entire lengths of the front and rear walls. The ground floor allows for an integral garage and the sloping gardens to the rear are peaceful and unspoiled. You can really spread out in the three/four bedrooms and large open plan living areas.

Little Brownings is a peaceful, no-through road with a lovely community vibe. Parking is unrestricted on the street but if that isn't enough, you have a garage and additional off street parking to take care of the wheels. Step in through the front door into a well lit hallway. The ground floor is a versatile space; the hallway gives way for a large room to the rear - use it as a double bedroom, office or even a utility room. Head up to the first floor into a dazzling, ultra bright and open plan living area. Stripped wooden floors roll out underfoot, drawing the eye immediately to the large windows running the entire length of the wall fronting the street. It's easy to separate the space into both lounging and dining areas. A family table and chairs looks great positioned just under the garden doors - the light streams in through the glass and would brighten up your cereal and coffee in the mornings. A simple but elegant all-white kitchen is neatly tucked away to the rear. Units run on three sides of the room so there is plenty of space for you and your sous Chef.

The second floor has two good sized double bedrooms positioned on the right hand side of the house. Both have a fitted cupboard, polar white walls and comfy carpets. Another smaller bedroom

(or study) faces front. The bathroom is well equipped to tackle both families and sharers. It's spacious and bright with a roll-top tub, shower and vanity unit.

Regular bus services serve both East Dulwich and Forest Hill (or you can walk to Forest Hill mainline station in approximately 15 minutes). At the bottom of the hill, find the Horniman Museum and wonderful gardens - both free of charge! Lordship Lane with yummy restaurants, bars and boutique shops, is reached in minutes by foot (about 10). Filling kitchen cupboards? Just nip to Sainsbury's in Forest Hill.
