" A truly delightful example of a 1930’s semi-detached home on Horley’s favoured East side, 0.5 miles to Horley’s train station. The entrance has a light and airy feel and sets the tone for the rest of the house. As you walk through the front door a very pleasant garden view is directly ahead. The reception rooms have been knocked into one to create a large lounge/diner, a fantastic space which was opened up to keep up with the modern way of life. The lounge and dining areas have both got gas feature fireplaces adding both to the character and the ambiance of a winters evening. The kitchen, which has been extended, now measures 22' with a large window overlooking the immaculate rear garden. Thanks to the extension a breakfast area has been designed which takes advantage of the views. Upstairs has also undergone a complete phase of re-decoration, your choice of master bedroom as the two largest are similar sizes, one at the front and one at the rear. Two further bedrooms and a bathroom which benefits from a separate w/c.The garage houses the Megaflow water system, the new combination boiler and plays host to the utility area.A large westerly facing rear garden has been re-designed, new turf has been laid and a brand new patio has been put down, it is now somewhere you can really enjoy.

What the Owner says:

We had always wanted to live in a 1930’s house. More often than not we know they come with a large garden and character, so when we saw this, and although needed a huge amount of updating we were prepared to take it on.We have had the roof replaced, a brand new Megaflow water system, new combination boiler, completely re-done the garden, the drive and rear patio, and completely re-decorated throughout.
