" A house or a bungalow? With this property you have both. The original bungalow was converted by the current owners back in 2003 when they extended into the roof space. This provided 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor and still kept a further double bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, therefore creating a lot of versatility. If you're not sure whether you're ready for a bungalow or if you have a niggling knee or aching hip but would still like to sleep on the first floor, this is the ideal property for you giving you scope later on to move to the ground floor without having to move home. The accommodation flows very well having a bright dual aspect living room and a separate dining room, the kitchen has been refitted and has plenty of space for all the bits and pieces needed. There is a small loggia to the rear which is ideal for muddy boots or cleaning the dog and a small, but neat and level rear garden plus a private driveway and a detached garage with light and power. The other benefits include gas fired central heating which has a fully serviced boiler and UPVC double glazing. The only thing missing is your furniture.

What the Owner says:

We were attracted to this bungalow by the size of the rooms. We viewed lots of properties but the size of all the rooms in this bungalow sold it to us. It's that feeling of space also the double aspect of the sitting room having 2 big windows letting all the light come flooding in. Another attraction was the Magnolia tree in the front garden within bloom and looks fantastic. We had looked in a large area but were drawn to Ashington which is a wonderful village to live in. So friendly and accessible plus plenty of things to do.
