" This pretty 1920’s home is crying out for someone to put their stamp on it and make it their own. With an abundance of character throughout, this property really is something to behold. Neat and tidy in every aspect, it is waiting for a new family to bring it to life and enjoy their time here. The bright, open, galleried landing creates a feeling of space upstairs and all 3 bedrooms are doubles. Being one of the few properties in the area not to have been structurally altered there is also the potential to extend and improve subject to gaining the necessary consents. This truly is a house for all seasons, let me paint a picture for you; imagine the family gathered in the sizeable yet cosy living room with its open fire roaring away on a cold winter’s evening or enjoying the beautiful garden on a sunny summer’s afternoon. The family get together at Christmas time with plenty of space for everyone around the dining table and the stroll into town to the shops and the park at the weekends. Sounds good? A practical family home as well, with a generous kitchen/breakfast room, a shower room, bathroom and driveway parking for 2 – 3 cars, it has all the needs for the modern day family.

What the Owner says:

We bought the house over 15 years ago because it suited our needs perfectly. We were downsizing from a large family home but still needed plenty of space and found that this house had fewer rooms but all of them were of such a good size, and this worked well for us. Being so close to the station and the town has been brilliant, my husband used to regularly commute to London and the station is just a few minutes’ walk away. The garden is lovely and sunny and being West facing means that we get the best of the afternoon and evening sunshine which is a wonderful way to end the day.
