" Excellent 4 bedroom family home which has been extended and updated by the current owners and which now provides well planned accommodation in large gardens, located in a popular village. The property which measures over 1800 sq ft has 3 good sized reception rooms in addition to a large kitchen/breakfast room and a conservatory, plus 3 bathrooms. Sitting well back in the plot, there is an extensive gravel drive providing off road parking for a number of cars, an attached tandem garage and mature, sunny gardens that back onto protected woodland.
ACCOMMODATION
The front door opens into the entrance hall which leads to all the significant downstairs rooms. The 20ft drawing room, which has recently been redecorated, has windows overlooking the gardens at the front and the side and features a cast iron fireplace with hand painted timber mantle and attractive wall lights. The 15ft formal dining room also overlooks the front gardens and has ample room to seat up to 10 people. Leading from the dining room is a private study which is an excellent room for a home office.

The kitchen/breakfast room has recently been refitted with new cabinets, supplied by the the Dutch company Keller. At the rear of the house is a conservatory which opens directly into the garden. This room would make an excellent play room for small children. Also, on the ground floor is a shower room which has also been refitted with a new white suite.

Upstairs there is a very generous 23ft master bedroom which overlooks the front garden and has an extensive range of built in wardrobes. The area also boasts a variety of woodland walks, bridle paths, and a large amount of common land. There are numerous country pubs within a few miles walk or drive.
