" Detached, Victorian villa which has been extended and improved by the current owners to provide a stylish and spacious family home. The property retains many original features including a number of fireplaces, picture rails and cornices, yet has been designed for contemporary family living with both large communal rooms and more private reception rooms. The property sits on a large plot of over a quarter of an acre with a rear garden that extends nearly 250ft and is located close to Sonning Common village centre. EPC EER RATING D.
ACCOMMODATION
The pretty front door with stained glass panels opens into the entrance hall. At the front of the house are 2 well proportioned reception rooms with high ceilings and box bay windows. One room is used as a study and has fitted bookcases and an attractive wrought iron fireplace. The other is over 20ft and has a feature log burner and solid oak floor. A hall leads from the study to a useful utility room with an outside door and cloakroom. Across the rear of the property is a superb extension which is a real "hub of the home" being an open plan kitchen/dining and family room.
