" Pretty thatched cottage located in a quiet Chilterns hamlet in gardens of more than 0.25 acres. This characterful home is believed to have been built in 1935 and retains all the original features which include exposed beams, oak latch doors and open fireplaces. The cottage has potential to extend (subject to planning approval) which would only serve to enhance the charm and desirability of this home. The cottage has a generous drive and a detached garage. In the rear gardens is a detached studio providing further independent accommodation and a number of outbuildings and summer houses. The property is available with NO ONWARD CHAIN. EPC Rating: F
LOCAL INFORMATION
The villages of Gallowstree Common, Kidmore End and Chalkhouse Green are located within South Oxfordshire, close to the Oxfordshire/Berkshire border. There is schooling for playgroup and a primary school and other facilities including a church, village hall, recreation ground, village well and Duck pond.
