" This charming four bedroom detached residence is situated at the end of a private drive within a highly sought after development location in Thatcham. The property was constructed in the mid 1980's, is beautifully presented and boasts approx. 1350 sq ft accommodation split over the traditional two floors. LOCAL INFORMATION
Thatcham is a thriving and busy town in West Berkshire, and has been inhabited since Prehistoric times, there is evidence of Bronze and Iron Age settlements and even the Romans have been here, although now the townsfolk number twenty three thousand. Thatcham sits by the River Kennet and the seven hundred acre Conservation Park has the Kennet & Avon Canal flowing through it. There are extensive retail, commercial and recreational facilities in Reading and Newbury and Thatcham offers good access to the A4 and M4 and has a train station. It also falls within the catchment for the Kennet secondary school.
