" Wow the owner really has put some thought and work in to this house. There is something about the older style house that has been modernised with a contemporary feel. Obviously the benefit is the modern finish but retaining the spacious rooms of the older style.
If entertaining is your thing then you are going to love this house. The kitchen at the back is modern with plenty of work surfaces for all you Masterchefs although the beauty of the kitchen is that it's open plan onto the dining room, so if you're cooking then you won't be missing out on the fun. This room also has a secret. Nicely positioned in what used to be a cupboard is a study area! The cosy lounge with the bay window, which lets the sun stream in, makes up the ground floor.
OK onwards and upwards where more work has gone on here. The second bedroom has been split giving the house the much requested upstairs bathroom and, wow, it's really nicely done! The remaining space still leaves a decent sized second bedroom. The main bedroom again benefits from the sunny aspect window to the front.
Outside a good sized rear garden which I did forget to mention is accessed via patio doors from the kitchen area, again a real plus when entertaining in the summer. As to location this road is popular, attractive road within easy access to Southsea's Albert Road and Palmerston Road but with easy access out of town if required.

We bought the property because of the great location and have found it a lovely road to live on, we have found the local shops perfect for our needs. The train station being only ten minutes away is a god send and we are so close to the bus route it's proved perfect for our needs. The two local parks have been perfect for walks and great in the summer. Our neighbours are lovely and will be missed, but we have out grown the house and just need something a little bigger.
