" The surroundings are absolutely stunning - the outlook is so beautiful and colourful, and there is not a building in sight to spoil the view. It has complete privacy, giving you the option of sunbathing semi-naked if you so wish, or maybe enjoy a game of golf or bowls!Although undoubtedly the highlight of this gem of a bungalow is the stunning grounds and countryside location. Once inside the property you will be greeted by good size, well presented rooms that are in very good decorative order and have been very well looked after and improved over the years by the current owners.The current owners absolutely love their home and they will be sad to leave behind not only a bungalow and garden that they have put so much into, but they will miss the lovely, welcoming neighbours that have become friends over the years.The bungalow also benefits from further excellent features, such as a double garage with power, lighting, work bench and fuse box – making it the perfect place for the man of the house to avoid the washing up after Sunday lunch, whilst trying out his wood work skills!Follow that with a spot of fruit picking from one of the many fruit trees lining the stunning grounds – perfect for those homemade pies and custard, then time for a quick game of golf on the 9 hole putting course which is included in the grounds!

Over 8 years ago we made the decision to get away from the ‘rat race’ just on the outskirts of London and move to the island for a quieter, more peaceful way of life in the countryside – and we were delighted when we found this bungalow. We couldn’t have found a more perfect home to enjoy our retirement and with the size of the garden it’s a good job we are retired! We holidayed a few times on the island and enjoyed the atmosphere and scenery so much, that eventually it drew us in enough to move here. However, now we are looking to move somewhere with a smaller garden, we certainly hope to stay in the Winford area as we have found it to be a wonderful place to live.
