" Combining a quiet location with beautiful views, the property is an impressive family residence where anyone who visits tends to fall in love. Steeped in local history the property was a former nursing home where many local residents were born. The house has changed its appearance over the years with a rear and side extension but still retains its character appeal. It benefits from fantastic far reaching views to the rear of the property over the dales with glimpses of the Solent. The accommodation on offer is extremely versatile, as you enter through the porch into the spacious hallway you find you’re flanked by two reception rooms, the lounge to the left and music room to the right. The layout is fun to explore and there’s a wonderful cosy snug which evokes visions of a glass of wine in hand whilst warmed by the flames of the wood burner. The dining room at the rear looks over the impressive garden and leads you round full circle back to the hall via the well laid out kitchen. A sizeable downstairs cloakroom has also been added in recent years. Upstairs there’s three double bedrooms, the front two rooms come with fitted wardrobes and the fourth bedroom is a single all served by the rather spacious 4 piece bathroom. Outside there is a good amount of off road parking and a large garage with separate workshop to the rear. The well tended garden is an absolute joy. Once again there’s plenty to explore with patio areas, greenhouse, grapevines, fish ponds, water pump and hidden seating areas.
