" The ultimate multi-generational home: this detached property boasts a generous 2647 sq ft house and a separate 1871 sq ft annexe, with potential as a home for older children or grandparents, accommodation for an au pair or alternatively as an income generator. The location is excellent: situated in the more rural North Hayling on the doorstep of farmland walks, cycling trails and coastal nature reserve. It is a short distance from the local post office, farm shop and pubs. The town of Havant situated just over the bridge has a good range of shops including a Waitrose and M&S.

The main house is mid 18th Century and is one of the original houses on the Island, featuring sash windows and many character features, including stone flooring, exposed beams, two inglenook fireplaces and original wood floors. The house has been well maintained and updated over the years to create an attractive family home with plenty of space throughout. The house is also ideally designed for entertaining, with a reception room featuring a bar area thatβ€˜s perfect for large gatherings of family and friends.

There is a double garage incorporated into the annexe, and a separate double oak barn style garage for the main house, with a loft for storage. The main garden is set to lawn and situated mostly to the rear overlooking fields. There is a formal Elizabethan style garden with fountain to the side and traditional cottage garden at the front. The annexe is landscaped to include a beautifully secluded gravel terrace with hot tub. The grounds are mostly lawn with attractive planting and a variety of mature trees providing a feeling of privacy where the property is free from being overlooked.
