LOCATION The peninsula of The Old Wharf lies on the southern side of Hooe Lake, accessed by a small road from the old Oreston village. This is a most attractive waterfront setting with an outlook that extends across the countryside of the peninsula which runs down to Mount Batten and Jennicliff, providing surroundings that are most unusual within the City.
