" A charming three bedroom detached character cottage which is beautifully presented throughout and with creek views. A38 9 miles, Dartmoor National Park 11 miles, Plymouth 11 miles (distances approximate) SITUATION AND DESCRIPTION Noss Mayo is a delightful estuary village situated in tranquil surroundings on the southern slopes of the beautiful estuary of the River Yealm which is surrounded by National Trust rolling countryside and includes Lord Revelstoke?s Nine Mile Ride ? a glorious cliff-top walk in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within the South Hams. The village amenities include two pubs and restaurant and a magnificent Church overlooking the creek. Newton Ferrers on the other side of the estuary has a number of shops including a post office and general store, Chemist, a Public House, another magnificent Church, a primary school and Yacht Club. The Yealm estuary is very popular with yachtsmen for both cruising and dinghy sailing, and racing occurs regularly in the river either side of high water. There are 18-hole golf courses at Wrangaton to the north, which backs onto the Dartmoor National Park, and to the east at Bigbury on Sea. For more comprehensive shopping centres there is Plymouth to the west, Ivybridge to the north or Kingsbridge and Salcombe to the east.\r\r\n\r\r\nBridgend Cottage is tucked away at the end of the beautiful Yealm estuary, with a quay and public slipway across the road from it.
