" A house that has evolved over the centuries - believed to date back to the 17th century and extended/remodelled late 19th century - this property offers a versatile living space and is divided into two; the main family home and the annexe to rear, which could be the ideal space for multigenerational living. The property offers an abundance of characterful features, both Georgian and Victorian.

The impressive front door opens to the main reception hall which gives access to the rest of the property; typical of Georgian era rooms, it is generous in size and filled with natural light. On either side from the hallway are a family room and a music room, both with working fireplaces, original sash windows, shutters and covings. Past the stairs toward the rear of the house, is a superb open plan kitchen/diner/sitting room, which takes centre stage as the main hub of this stunning property. The dining area, complete with a stunning glass roof and French doors leads out into the garden. In addition, the well-appointed kitchen benefits from bespoke fitted units, solid oak worktops and island worktop.

Stepping into the sitting room, there is more of a cottage feel, with lower ceilings, a stunning log burner and exposed beams. Through the sitting room a door leads to the utility room / WC, and boot room, which provides access out into the garden. A second set of stairs can also be found leading from the boot room, providing access to the fifth bedroom.

The landing is just as majestic as the reception hall; the two windows allow plenty of light to flood through and the exposed floorboards add to the character of the house. Off the landing, you can access the two family bathrooms and all five bedrooms, all of which are comfortable doubles. As you follow the hall around, a door gives optional access to the annexe part of the property, which is otherwise fully self-contained.

The annexe has its own front stable style door, opening to its own kitchen/diner, whilst a set of stairs lead to the sitting area, with a lovely open fireplace and two windows. From here, an inner hall gives access to three bedrooms and the family bathroom.

The outside space includes a driveway to the side of the property, providing off-street parking for up to three cars. The fully enclosed rear garden is split into two: one area with decking, laid to lawn and with mature trees and shrubs surrounding. The second area of the garden is a working garden, featuring fruit trees and raised vegetable beds. There is also access to three store sheds which form part of the main building. There is potential here for further development (subject to the relevant planning and building regulations).
