" Number 1 Barton Green is a beautiful contemporary property in a small enclave of five new houses. The property has recently been built by the current owners to an extremely high specification and located very close to the facilities of the Georgian market town of Wisbech.Externally, with its pitched slate roof, it has a traditional feel except for the majestic glazed entrance, and internally it has an open plan design. The feeling of quality in both materials and design is immediately evident, so too the sense of space with natural light flooding in from windows facing all aspects. The immaculate floor is a magical sparkly white quartz, the walls a sophisticated pale grey, and solid oak features are at every turn.The sleek contemporary kitchen boasts gleaming streamline fitted units, and houses three eye-level Siemens ovens, one incorporating a microwave. The induction hob atop the central breakfast bar/island is clad in top notch white stone. There are endless sockets throughout the house all of which have USB points, and there are TV points with Sky in the kitchen/living area, the games area and in the cinema room, which could also be considered the sitting room. This is the only downstairs room which shuts behind doors and features a gorgeous deep, cream carpet.Venturing upstairs on the open but thick and solid oak treads, flanked by glass, you find yourself on a beautiful, light, galleried landing overlooking the hall and through the glass entrance at the front of the house. The double garage is a separate construction which could easily be transformed into a self-contained annexe. A downstairs loo is already being fitted, and upstairs in the eaves of the roof is a spacious room which could be a huge bedroom, a games area for table tennis or snooker for example, or just more office space. The house sits on a plot of about a third of an acre and has a sunny, secluded garden with some raised brick beds beyond its slate paving surrounds at the back of the house. "
